About Atelya

Atelya is run by Steve and Karen Curzon, a husband-and-wife team with a shared love of design, craftsmanship, and creativity.

Steve discovered 3D printing through a fascination with form and function, bringing his background in commercial problem-solving into the world of modern design. Karen, with her eye for style and detail, has always been drawn to beautiful objects that enhance everyday life. Together, we combine technical innovation with an appreciation for timeless aesthetics.

From our home in Cheshire, we create elegant planters, vases, tealight holders, and decorative pieces — each one designed to bring character, warmth, and originality into your living space. We work with sustainable materials such as wood-infused and plant-based filaments, ensuring our designs not only look good but feel good too.

At Atelya, we believe that great design doesn’t have to be mass-produced. Every piece is carefully created, tested, and refined before it reaches you — balancing modern technology with a personal, handmade spirit.

We design and print each piece in-house, which means we can create items to order.
